{"id":1925,"date":"2014-05-22T10:17:21","date_gmt":"2014-05-22T10:17:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nplschool.co.uk\/videos\/?p=1925"},"modified":"2014-05-22T10:17:21","modified_gmt":"2014-05-22T10:17:21","slug":"was-slavery-right","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nplschool.co.uk\/videos\/was-slavery-right\/","title":{"rendered":"Was slavery right"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Was slavery right?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There was no\u00a0 doubt that slavery brought vast and wealthy in to many contras this fouled \u00a0slavery for many years as plantation owners where able to gain power and worthiness<\/p>\n<p>The slave trade was necessary for the success\u00a0\u00a0 and wealth to Britain .the merchants and plantation owners wanted slavery to continue so that they can keep rich and powerful. So slavery continued\u00a0 these ranged from the enslaved people where unfit for work many people were very prejudiced\u00a0 in there belief\u2019s<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I think slavery is bad because they get sold and used for slaves and used to do there dirty work for them. One day a man called William Wilberforce\u00a0 made his first speech to band slavery. The ban against slavery was finally put in place and thousands of slaves where rescued but many died.<\/p>\n<p>There where many reasons against slavery.
