This is based on our Pirate visitor to New Pasture Lane and his stories.<\/p>\n<p>As we&#8217;ve been completing Shakespeare&#8217;s Macbeth Unit this term . We decided to write it in the style of an Iambic Pentameter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>(chorus)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Pirates life is just the thing for me<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The biscuits are so crunchy and so fine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Black Swan rolls and often makes me sick<\/p>\n<p>Above the ship I see a thousand miles<\/p>\n<p>WE never eat, we\u2019re starved, we\u2019re skeletons<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s exciting when you sneak upon their boss<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Pirates life is just the thing for me<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The biscuits are so crunchy and so fine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our battle cry it never seems to fail<\/p>\n<p>We love to make the prisoners beg and wail<\/p>\n<p>You rip, you fall, you die, you scream you\u2019re doomed.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s satisfying when they walk the plank<\/p>\n<p>Once thrown the sharks begin their merry dance<\/p>\n<p>I love it when my sword begins to sing<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Pirates life is just the thing for me<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The biscuits are so crunchy and so fine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My treasures full of gold doubloons and pearls<\/p>\n<p>A pirate smells just like a donkey\u2019s bum.<\/p>\n<p>I fell right off the boat and hit the rocks<\/p>\n<p>You live you die you\u2019re fate is up to you<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Pirates life is just the thing for me<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The biscuits are so crunchy and so fine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Performance Poetry by Y6 during World Book day Mar ch 2015.
