Hermia
This daring, fiesty yet independent girl is called Hermia. She loves her romantic boyfriend Lysander and wouldn’t change a single thing about him! Her farther (Egeus) thinks differently. Egeus wants Hermia to marry Demetrius, but like any other independent girl she refused until she got her own way.
Lysander
Lysander is a romantic fool who is in love with Hermia. He can persuade anyone to do something (obviously not Egeus though).
However he gets into a love-tangle with Demetrius, Helena and Hermia. He would be willing to fight for his love.
Demetrius
Egeus loves Demetrius and thinks that his daughter (Hermia) and Demetrius are the perfect match. They don’t see eye-to-eye. He is mean towards her friend (Helena) and has shooed Helena away each time she wants him. He will do anything to be with Hermia though.
Helena
This needy lady is in love with Demetrius, but has been rejected every time. (Helena keeps trying though). She describes herself as ‘a bear that scares other creatures away. ’Helena snitched on her best friend so Demetrius would go out with her, but that plan back fired.
