I lay uncomfortable on the ship’s deck. The smell is unbearable. All I can see ARE chains around people’s necks chests and legs. I’ve not eaten for day’s maybe weeks. The salty water is running up my nose people screaming my legs feel numb because I have just been whipped!!!!

Finally it was night time every one was moaning and groaning. Women were in pain all the way through the night. The lovely moonlight made me drifted off to sleep. I was scared if someone came to prod me or the Captain whips me ….

On arrival after weeks and months at sea. I couldn’t see because of the beaming, bright golden sun blinding me. Then I found myself tossed into a smelly disgusting room, there were skeletons surrounding me.

I have been on this plantation for over 3 years now and every day is always the same in the sugar fields but one night I arrived really late at work and I was whipped and beaten and every day I miss my family.

Along time ago, my mother told me about a little boy called Kirikou , he is smart but small and he always wanted to overcome his wrong doings.

One day Karaba got a thorn stuck in her back and she became evil, she always stole gold and hope Karaba turns men into objects also she despises children and from now on she always stands straight not showing the thorn.

Kirikou began his adventures to overcome his fear of evil. He thought of many different ways to disguise. His first camouflage was made out of feathers. Of course it was a bird but when he was near Karaba’s house he was in front of huge ginormous real bird stood before him and started to pluck all of his feathers, Kirikou climbed up a tree and when karaba was looking for him he jumped down and yanked the thorn out of her back, the evil had gone!!!

In the end Karaba kissed Kirikou and he grew about 3 meters long than he was, They got married and loved together happily.
