Here are some short radio plays produced by Y5 based on Kensuke’s Kingdom that they’ve been reading in class this term. This is the scene when the crew of the ‘Peggy Sue’  departs the harbour to travel the World and is waved off by friends

Highlights from this morning’s Christmas Nativity.

A Cinderella jingle written and performed by Y5 to advertise Y5/6’s forthcoming musical.

A poem written by Lilly T in Y5 based on Michael Morpurgo’s ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’ which the class have recently read.

In the story Michael is thrown overboard from his parents yacht (Peggy Sue) during a torrential storm. This poem descibes his thoughts as he is tossed and battered by the cruel sea.

Through her weekly music sessions, Sherilyn has helped her to fit the song to music.

Y5 pupils have created some short radio play scenes this week whilst reading Michael Morpurgo’s Kensuke’s Kingdom.
